District 7070 Foundation Walk, Alliston, Sunday, Sept 26, 2010

Time: 9 am
Pledge: At Least $100/pp
Why you, your family and your friends should join 2010 Foundation Walk?
1) The annual Foundation Walk is District 7070’s major fund-raiser for the Rotary Foundation Annual Program Fund.
- The Annual Programs Fund is the primary source of unrestricted support for the programs of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. The mission of the Annual Programs Fund mirrors that of The Rotary Foundation: to support the efforts of Rotary International in the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs.
It is from the Annual Fund, that the Foundation and District 7070 fund our outbound Ambassadorial Scholars, the Group Study Exchange Teams, and the various Humanitarian Grant programs.
2) You can become a Sustaining Foundation Member by contributing at least US$100 to the Foundation each and every year.
- The amount you are able to donate or have pledged in your name will go towards your Paul Harris Fellowship points. At $1000, you will become a Paul Harris Fellow.
3) Join the Rotary free lunch and a full day of activities at the beautiful Gibson Centre and Earl Rowe Provincial Park in township of Alliston.
Our club is aiming at $100 worth of pledges per RCOY member. Please bring your family and friends. We also welcome pledge along if you have other commitment on that day.

District 7070 Foundation Walk, Trenton, 2009

The event was hosted by the Rotary Club of Quinte West. Over 20 of our Rotarians, and their friends and family made the trip out to the Military Forces Base in Trenton on an early Sunday morning. Despite the weather, everyone had a good time learning about the air base, and the different planes.
